I recently had the most wonderful experience at Renvyle House Hotel. The staff genuinely cared for us and made sure our stay was enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The stunning views of the ocean and mountains from the hotel completed the picture perfectly. However, a small downside was the noise from the children, as our room was close to the playroom, which might not be ideal for everyone.

Renvyle House Hotel offers a unique charm with its historic character and beautiful scenic location. The staff's attentiveness truly adds to the overall experience, making for a restorative getaway. However, I felt that the bathrooms could use some updates, and the Wi-Fi coverage was lacking outside of common areas.

I recently spent two nights at this hotel, and while I appreciated the spacious room and welcoming staff, my dining experience was quite frustrating on the first night. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with lovely lake views, but the limited allergen options for dinner need improvement. Overall, it's a cozy spot for a family getaway, though some enhancements could make it even better.

Rooms
7.0
The room was very spacious with nice robes and slippers. However, it was a bit outdated, and the shower could use an upgrade for better water pressure.
Service

The staff were very accommodating, especially Lorna, who went out of her way to provide better dining options after our first night's experience.
Location

The hotel is set in a picturesque area right by the lake, making it a great base for exploring nearby attractions like Kylemore Abbey.
Dining

While breakfast was excellent, the dinner on our first night was disappointing due to limited options and a lack of understanding of dietary restrictions. Fortunately, our second night was much better.
Facilities

The common areas of the hotel are cozy and inviting, but a little background music would really enhance the atmosphere.

The dining options offered an incredible array of choices that made each meal a highlight. However, while the service was generally great, there were a few moments where staff seemed a bit rushed, which slightly detracted from the overall experience.

Renvyle House is a picturesque hotel that truly captivates with its charm and serene atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful stay, and the dining experience features fantastic, well-prepared meals. However, while the location is stunning, the bathing facilities could use an upgrade, and I found the prices to be on the higher side for some amenities.
